Module and primitive diameter for items 180 – 180A and 180B

Formula : Σ Ø = n/dp
n being the number of teeth of the set of two pinions
dp being the pitch diametral (number of teeth on the pinion diameter in inch).

180 Gear Ring 95/133 teeth
We know that the wheel of 133 teeth goes with a pinion of 19 teeth. Total = 152

ΣØ= 152/38
    = 4 inches
Ø19 teeth = 0,5 inche
So Ø 133 teeth = 3.5 inches (primitive diameter) x 25.4 to have this measurement in mm.

3,5 x 25,4/133 = 0,66842105263 (module) en mm.

The wheel of 95 teeth goes with a pinion of 19 teeth. Total = 114

ΣØ = 114/38
     = 3 inches
Ø 95 teeth = 2,5 inches (primitive diameter)

2,5 X 25,4/95 = 0,66842105263 (module) en mm

For wheel of 57 teeth, primitive diameter = 1,5 inche.

For wheel of 171 teeth, primitive diameter = 4,5 inches.
